Bangalore: Popular Front of India welcomes the decision by the Honourable Supreme Court to uphold the reservations in Andhra Pradesh after being withdrawn by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.

This has been the firm belief at Popular India that reservations should be provided after identifying a backward group and not on the basis of religion. Similarly it cannot be denied to anybody on the basis of religion.

Kozhikod: Popular front of India (PFI) urged that police should stop spreading fake stories and accusations against the Popular Front of India using the media. "The organization had no history fighting with the police. The accusations that blue film CDs and anti-national documents were found in the raid in the house of PFI leader were wrong". Popular front of India state general secretary P Abdul Hameed said, in a press conference in Kozhikode.
