Mass race, Yoga demonstrations and health awareness programs were held at 109 points across the state in connection with the national campaign titled “Healthy People, Healthy Nation” being conducted by Popular Front of India from 15th to 30th October.
Popular Front State Vice President C. Abdul Hameed inaugurated the state level program at Kannur. State General Secretary K. Sadath and State Secretary B. Noushad flagged off the mass race at Thiruvanathapuram and Kozhikode respectively. Personalities from socio-cultural spheres participated in the program at various places.
Mass race, Yoga demonstrations and health awareness programs were held at 109 points across the kerala state in connection with the national campaign titled “Healthy People, Healthy Nation” being conducted by Popular Front of India from 15th to 30th October.
Healthy People Healthy Nation campaign is being conducted by Popular Front of India all over the nation every year. During this campaign, the public is educated on the health and hygienic issues. This year the campaign is planned from October 15 to 30.
The inaugural function of the campaign was held at Trichy on October 12. A marathon was organized by the State unit of Popular Front to mark the inauguration. The marathon was inaugurated by Advocate Shahjahan, State Treasurer of Popular Front of India.
Mangalore: “A country will become strong when its youths are healthy and their energy is used in the correct direction. Today most of people are ignoring their health causing waste of the energy of the country. Thus Popular Front of India’s Healthy People Healthy Nation Campaign is very useful”, said Abdul Razaq Seema, leader of Popular Front of India, Uppinangady.
He was speaking at a health awareness program held by Popular Front of India at Panemangalore.
Kundapur: Popular Front of India, Udupi district unit, organized a Marathon rally and public meet at Kundapura recently as part of the organization’s national level Healthy People Healthy Nation Campaign.
The organization’s Udupi district president Muhammad Nisar inaugurated the Marathon which was part of the program to create awareness among the general public on their health. Marathon was started from Babasha Mohalla and passed through several Mohallas in Gangolli and finally reached at Gangolli Jamiya Mohalla, where public programme and yoga demonstration took place.
Mangalore: Popular Front of India, Ullal division organized a Public Meet and Yoga demonstration here at Malar recently, as a part of organization’s national level Healthy People Healthy Nation Campaign. A hand book on Yoga and exercise for the daily practice of public was released on the occasion.
Chief guest Abdul Razaq Seema, state president of Popular Front of India, stressed for the need of building a healthy society.
Chennai: Inaugural Ceremony of "Healthy People, Healthy Nation" Campaign held at Chennai on November 3, 2013. The campaign being held between November 1 and November 15 to create awareness on Public Health and cleanliness among the general public throughout the nation.
During this campaign Popular Front of India organises various awareness programs including Physical Exercise classes, Yoga demonstration classes, Medical and Blood donation camps and Cleaning Public premises etc, especially Hospitals .
New Delhi: Popular Front's new nationwide health awareness campaign "Healthy People Healthy Nation" was kicked off today here New Delhi with a Marathon organized by Popular Front Delhi State Committee.
The marathon inaugurated by Maulana Usman Baig National executive Committee member flagged of marathon which started from Jantar Mantar , entered Asoka road and came all the way back to the starting point at Jantar Mantar.
