Jaipur, Rajasthan: Popular Front of India kicked off the School Chalo campaign in Rajasthan with the education awareness rally on 29th May, 2013 at Jaipur .Popular Front of India State President Mr Aneez Ansari inaugurated the Students rally which started with more than 250 students and covered Ramnivas Garden and finished at Albert hall (Museum) . Later State leaders submitted a memorandum to the Education Minister Sri.Brij Kishore Sharma.
In a public meet, Aneez Ansari appreciated all volunteers for their commitment and hard work to achieve the target of project to distribute 20,000 school kits to economically backward students.
On the occasion Master Aslam Khan State Vice President of Popular Front, Mr.Khalid Mansoor State General Secretary of Popular Front, Hafiz Muhammed Hanif State vice President of Social Democratic Party of India , Md Asif and Md Javed State secretaries of Popular Front were also present.
As a part of Popular Front's nationwide educational awareness campaign, Popular Front State committee had planned various programs in hundreds of villages throughout the State including education awareness rallies, Parent's educational awareness workshop and counselling, expert sessions on parenting and guidance for higher education etc.
Popular Front of India used to conduct School Chalo (Go to School) campaign every year at the beginning of the academic year. Educational awareness and promotion programme will be carried out by the state committees of Popular Front in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharshtra, West Bengal and Manipur.
Last year 1 lakh school kits were distributed and hundreds of scholarships were offered for more than 2 crore rupees were spent for this cause. The organization had conducted surveys to identify the needy in various places of the state and distributed school materials, uniforms, scholarships for that poor and needy students.
