Mangalore: On behalf of Karnataka state unit of Popular front of India, Yasir Hasan, General Secretary, released a short film on School Chalo programs, Today, on May 25, 2015 at Coastal House, Mangalore. State executive committee members including Abdul Razak Kemmara, Mohamed Kakkinje and many others were also present with him and graced the occasion.
School Chalo programs conducted by Popular Front of India to promote education awareness among the most backward and downtrodden community at the beginning of every academic year throughout the nation.
During these campaigns Awareness Rallies, School kits distribution, Parents counselling , Sarva sikhsha gram, Adopting entire village to uplift them in education was also conducted. Initially,a thorough survey being conducted to find out the school drop outs, children belonging to economically weaker sections were identified. After identifying real beneficiaries, adequate financial assistance will be arranged for them to pursue their education without any interruption with the support of local philanthropists.
