On July 22, 2006 the Assistant Commissioner Ratna Sabapathy engineered a bomb hoax and arrested innocent Muslim youths at Coimbatore and tried to portray the Muslims as terrorists. This was widely published in the media at that time.So far action has not been taken against him and other erring officers. This act of the Government has created widespread dissatisfaction among the Muslim community. So the State Executive Council decided to conduct a statewide agitation on the month of July at every district and a grand march towards the Secretariat, urging the Government to take action against Ratna sabapathy for his abuse of power.

The court verdict on the Bhopal Industrial disaster, that costs many innocent lives, after 25 years of trial the final verdict comes as a shock to people of India. The Central Government should rehabilitate the innocent victims and provide necessary help to them immediately. The main accused of this tragedy Warren Anderson should be extradited, brought to justice and punished.
