No information on Popular Front shared with media, says IB and NIA

New Delhi: Intelligence Bureau and National Investigation Agency denied that they had shared with media any information on Popular Front of India of the media reports portraying Popular Front as a terrorist organization.

The agencies made it clear that they had nothing to do with some newspaper reports dubbing the Front as a terrorist organization in statements submitted to Press Council of India (PCI) as per the notice sent by the Council.

New Delhi: The National Executive Council (NEC) of Popular Front of India held at the organization's HQ on 2, 3 March 2013 supported nationwide campaign for the abolition of death penalty.

Under the current socio-political and economic circumstances capital punishment is awarded to the poor and the defenseless and the governments are using it as instrument to subdue dissidents and political opponents .

Malappuram: Popular front of India elected new national leadership for the next two years term with KM Shareef (Mangalore) as Chairman, O.M.A Salam(Malappuram) elected as General Secretary. Elections were held during the 3-day annual General Council convened here at Puthanathani in Malappuram. Prof. P Koya elected as Vice Chairman and M Muhammed Ali Jinna
and Elyas Muhammed Thumbe as secreteries.Muhammed Shahbudeen is new treasurer.

Chennai: Eid get together was organised by Popular Front of India on November 1, 2012 at Chennai Anna Nagar Zaithun Hotel. State President A.S.Ismail presided over the function and E.M.Abdur Rahiman, the Charman of Popular Front of India delivered his keynote address explained about various Black laws including UAPA that targets innocents of Muslim community.
