Bangalore June 15: Those who have soul will never forget the incident, where an innocent girl was first kidnapped, then murdered in a fake encounter to get some medals and accolades from a government that was habitual to reward such operations. 10 years ago, some innocents were picked up and killed. Officers were rewarded and promoted for implementing the state policy in complete consciousness (as DG Vanzara puts in his words). Justice eludes them till this day.
The State Executive Council of Popular Front of India was convened on May 21 and 22 at Kadayanallur, Tirunelveli. State President A.S.Ismail presided over the meet. State General Secretary A. Khalid Mohamed, State Vice-president M.Mohamed Shaik Ansari, Secretaries J. Mohamed Raseen and S. Illyas, Treasurer A. Ahamed Faisal and all the executive council members attended the meet. The following resolutions were passed at the executive council.
Chennai: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) which made its electoral debut in the 16th parliamentary elections in the State has won more than forty thousand votes in the three constituencies it contested. SDPI did not enter into any electoral alliance in these constituencies and has emerged as the new force in the state politics.

New Delhi: Popular Front of India Chairman KM Shareef in his latest statement released today condemned the police firing on Muslim mob which killed three people and left more than 20 injured. He demanded the authorities to take strict and immediate measures to ensure peace in the affected areas and to check spread of violence.

A petition has been filed in the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court, by certain vested interest groups, demanding the cancellation of reservation for Muslims. The group has stated that the reservation for Muslims will affect the other backward classes. Muslims, who were part of the backward class, were given reservation as they remain under developed on the social and educational fields.
Madurai: Syed Abdul Kather, the district president of Social Democratic Party of India’s (SDPI) advocate wing had filed a petition in the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court seeking the transfer of bomb blast cases in the city to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The counsel for the petitioner had earlier submitted the letters written by former Superintendent of Police to the higher officials highlighting the alleged nexus of criminals and the cops in the intelligence wing.
