Shimogga: Popular Front held Unity March

Shimogga: Popular Front of India, Shimogga district unit, conducted Unity March and Grand Public Meet in Shimogga on 20th February 2015. Thousands of people participated in the march which was conducted as part of the organization’s Popular Front Day celebration.
Speaking on the occasion K.M.Shareef, chairman of Popular Front of India, Popular Front of India is an organization striving for the empowerment of marginalized sections of the country.

NEW LEADERSHIP ELECTED IN MAHARASHTRA

Pune : Popular Front of India Maharashtra chapter election held on 19th Jan’ 2015 for the new tenure of 2015-2016 at the Popular front of India Maharashtra state head office at Pune in the presence of E M Abdul Raheman national Vice Chairman and Abdul Samad, National Executive Council member.
General body meeting started with the last year working reports presented by Mazhar Khan, followed by discussion and suggestions and reports passed by the general body members.

Popular Front Kerala elects new leadership

Malappuram: C. Abdul Hameed and K H Nasar were elected as President and General Secretary of Popular Front Kerala by the State General Assembly held at Puthanathani in Malappuram for the term 2015-16. K Muhammedali (Malapppuram) was elected as state vice-president and B Noushad(Calicut) A Abdul Sathar(Kollam) as secretaries. CP Muhammed Basheer( Malappuram) was elected as the state Treasurer.

Tamil Nadu: New State functionaries elected

The State General Assembly of Popular Front of India was held at Theni from January 9 to 11. The Assembly was presided by State President A.S. Ismail. He pointed out the development of the movement in the State. The functioning of the movement at the national level was explained by National Executive Council member Advocate Mohamed Yousuf. The yearly report was submitted by State General Secretary A. Khaled Mohamed. The State General Assembly discussed the yearly report in detail.

On 6th December 1992, the Congress Government led by then Prime Minister Mr. PV Narasimha Rao formed a one man commission under Retired High Court Judge, Justice M.S.Liberhan has to get into the act of Babri Masjid Demolition and to find out People involved in the heinous crime. The report which was to be submitted by Liberhan in 3 months was given 48 extensions and after a gap of 17 years, the report was submitted to then Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh led Government on 30th June 2009.

Babri Masjid Day: Protest demonstrations held in Tamil Nadu

The Babri Masjid was demolished by the Hindutuva goons on December 6, 1992 in broad daylight. Along with that, the secular values of our nation were also demolished. The various court directions given in this issue were ignored by the Hindutuva fundamentalists. The then State and Central Governments remained just mute spectators while the demolition was going on.

Central Government should not relinquish drug price control - Popular Front Seminar

Seminars organized by Popular Front of India at different places in Kerala urged the Central Government itself to undertake the control of pricing of all essential drugs including life saving drugs, and to ensure free treatment to all citizens considering treatment as a fundamental right. The move to fully relinquish drug price control and hand it to monopoly companies as has been done in diesel pricing is highly deplorable.
