Take Stringent Action against RSS: Popular Front

Kozhikkode: Popular Front of India demanded the government to take stringent action against RSS, an antinational organisation the terrorist activities of which has been unearthed by investigating agencies. In order to bring this demand to the notice of the government, Popular Front will hold marches to the state secretariat and all district collectorates on 19th of this month, said state general secretary P Abdul Hameed, vice president K H Naser and state council member K P Muhammed Nizar in a press conference here today.

Popular Front denies having links with SIMI

New Delhi,: The Popular Front of India has denied any links with banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and said the organisation was working for downtrodden and indulging in several social works.
In a statement, the PFI said that reports that SIMI cadre were re-grouping under the banner of Popular Front were very unfortunate and baseless.

"In the past 20 years, we have been servicing by several social works. At present we are functioning in 10 states.... We don't have any connection with SIMI," it said.

Popular Front condemns Varanasi blast

The Central Secretariat of Popular Front of India strongly condemns the blast occurred in Varanasi on 7th December, a day after the 18th anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition. It is a senseless and shameful act done with the purpose of creating terror among the people and disturbing peaceful inter-community relations.

Such acts are also intended to weaken the people’s united struggles for restoration of justice in Babri Masjid issue.

Kozhikode: Popular Front of India (PFI) has filed defamation cases against a newspaper and two magazines for publishing malicious and defamatory news about the organization. PFI state general secretary P Abdul Hamid has filed cases against India Today, Desabhimani newspaper, its weekly and Keralasabdam.
