In the context of the unfortunate Andhra Pradesh high court judgment that stayed the 4.5% sub-quota for Minorities within the 27% central quota for Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Popular Front demands Central Government to ensure Minority sub-quota reservation in current admissions.

Sora: Manipur state unit of Popular Front of India had conducted school chalo (go to shool) campaign which includes Distribution of education Kits for the needy and a Students Rally which held on May 12, 2012 at Sora Community Hall, Thoubal District, Manipur.
About 350 Students with their parents as well as some Scholars, Academicians, Philanthropists, intellectuals and Social workers of Sora Area were present and graced the occasion.

Coimbatore protests demanding Muslim reservation

Popular Front of India on Sunday April22, 2012 took out a massive rally and staged a protest demonstration in Coimbatore city.
The protesters marched from Women's Polytechnic to Red Cross office around 4 p.m. The organisation's representatives said that they wanted 10 per cent reservation in Central government institutions and seven per cent reservation in State government institutions.State Executive Committee member T.M. Ibrahim Badusha led the protests.

School Chalo program at Manipur

Healthy People Healthy Nation campaign launched in Bangalore

Bangalore: Popular Front of India launched a State wide "Healthy People Healthy Nation" campaign on 10th February 2012 to aware the people about their health and to cultivate the habit of regular exercise among them to maintain good health.

Mr. Ilyas Ahmed, Bangalore District President of Popular Front of India spoke to the members of the organization educating them of the life style diseases like obesity, Blood Pressure, Diabetes, which are the major challenge for the entire Indian population.
