Withdraw from moves to saffronize education system

New Delhi: A resolution passed by the meeting of the National Secretariat of Popular Front of India held in New Delhi called upon the government to stop the covert saffronisation and corporatization of the country’s educational system and to solve the systemic problems of teaching. While The Draft New Education Policy 2016 affirms the existence of serious problems with current education system, it does not have anything substantial to offer in addressing those problems.
