"Barbaric Black laws like UAPA were imposed indiscriminately in various states and Innocent Muslim youths being labeled as Terrorists by the media, Bail provision is also totally denied for the innocents because of the media trial and negative atmosphere being created by them", said Nasrudeen, Popular Front, while speaking at a street corner meeting at Anna Nagar.
Advocate Raja Mohamed also spoke on the same subject at Sellur, Madurai.
Popular Front of India, as a part of its National campaign, organized various Street corner meetings, demanding the release of Innocent under trial prisoners. Madurai Chapter of the organization had actively distributed Handbills, Pamphlets, and campaigned through Pasting posters and conducting several Public meetings, Seminars and street meets at important locations.
