Almost all Muslim organization had already been struggled hard for Muslim reservation as much as they could.Though Muslim reservation remain as a day dream till now, At-least the announcement of the center to offer Muslim reservation ahead of Elections in UP and elsewhere is commendable and nothing wrong in welcoming their intention to offer reservation for under represented and Socially Educationally Backward Muslim community.

In Tamilnadu 3.5 percentage of reservation is inadequate to alleviate Muslims backwardness So the AIADMK government as assured in their Election Manifesto should increase the percentage of reservation for adequate representation in all sectors to ensure social justice. To remind the government and to implement the same at earliest Popular Front of India will be organizing Grand processions rallies and protest demonstration at 5 districts namely Coimbatore, Chennai, Madurai, Tanjavore, Nellai on April 22. "Separate quota for Muslims at the Center and adequate reservation at the State" will be our key demand.
Muslim leaders and social activists being consulted to bring a general consensus on what percentage of increase is required for the community in Tamilnadu and based on the decision we would unitedly urge the Tamilnadu state government to implement it at earliest.
Popular Front of India State President A.S.Ismail Presided over this program. General Secretary Mohamed Khalid welcomed the gathering. Vice Chairman Mohamed Ali Jinna in his Keynote address presented a Brief Summary on the Topic of Muslim Reservation. Finally with the vote of thanks from State secretary Sheik Mohamed Ansari program concluded.
