Social Justice Conference: National Inauguration of Publicity Program at Mangalore on October 11

Mangalore: Elyas Muhammad Thumbe, state president of Popular Front of India , said that the organization has decided to conduct a massive conference namely “Social Justice Conference” on November 26, 27 at Ramleela Maidan, New Delh. Public Meetings, corner meetings, rallies, seminars, etc will be conducted in all states on account of publicity programs of the conference.

Briefing media here at Woodlands Hotel on 8th October 2011, he said the national inaugural program of the publicity campaign of “Social Justice Conference” will be held at Nehru Maidan, Mangalore on 11th November, 2011 so that the nation wide publicity of the conference will be started.

Elyas Muhammad Thumbe (State President of Popular Front, Karnataka) will preside over the inaugural program and K.M.Shareef (National General Secretary, Popular Front of India) will inaugurate the program on 11th October, 2011. Dr.C.S.Dwarakanath (Former President, Karnataka State Backward community commission), Advocate Rafeek Kuttikattoor (Vice Principal, Green Valley Institutions, Kerala), Venkataswamy (President, Samatha Sainik Dala, Karnataka), Seyed Ibrahim Al Hadi Thangal (Khatheeb, Athoor Jamia Masjid) will be the chief guests of the program.

He said Popular Front of India is always striving hard for the empowerment of backward, exploited, marginalized and minority communities and it has been spreading its network all over the country. ‘Social Justice Conference” will be conducted on the slogan that “Build the nation on justice”. Social Justice is a concept enunciated for the protection of the people especially the backward and marginalized sections of the society. Social Justice is one of the fundamentals of our constitution. The preamble of the constitution has clearly defined ‘Social Justice”.

He said Daliths, Adivasis, tribals, backward communities and minority communities have been deprived of development in our country. The rural areas are become backward and the word development has been merely meant for urban development. The farmer community has tired due to the burden of debts. Multinational companies are invading the nation. The live of common man has become hard due the communalism and black laws like AFSPA, etc. The distance between rich and poor is becoming wider.

He said a strong struggle is needed to strengthen Social Justice like equality, equal social justice; proper distribution of development and resources, etc and all citizens should unite in this noble cause without any differences.
