As the reports of Narendra Modi led Central Government’s moves to impose ban on Popular Front of India keep coming out, the Tamil Nadu state committee of the neo social movement organized two grand conferences in the state. The massively attended conferences held consecutively on 7th and 8th of October in Madurai and Chennai respectively under the title ‘Urimai Mulakka Manadu’ with the slogan ‘we also have something to say’ wowed to defy any repressive moves against the organization and made it clear that the organization would not compromise its ideals under any circumstances.
Amidst recent media reports of the Central Government moves to Popular Front of India, tens of thousands, men, women and children, drawn from all parts of Kerala, flocked to Trivandrum city to attend the mega rally and the grand conference that followed, organized by the Kerala state committee of the organization with the slogan “We also have something to say”. The massively attended gathering became a warning against the sinister attempts of the right-wing government to suppress democratic Muslim movements and initiatives labeling them as anti-national and demonizing them.
Popular Front of India North Zone will organize a Grand Public Meeting on 5th November in Delhi highlighting the theme “We also have something to say”. This conference is being organized in the context of the moves to interrupt the activities of the organization by anti-people and anti-minority right-wing forces by misusing power.
The launching program for the rescue and relief volunteers group of Popular Front of India was held on August 27, 2017 at Centenary Auditorium , University of Madras. E. Abubacker, Chairman, Popular Front of India inaugurated the initiative and delivered the keynote address. Explaining the objectives of this new initiative by Popular Front he said, “Whether it is a Natural calamity or an epidemic disease it will affect all the sections of the society irrespective of religion or caste.
The report of the fact finding enquiry conducted by the team of Popular Front of India at Shobhapur Village of Jamshedpur where 6 Muslims were lynched to death by a mob "We, a team of eight activists, first held a meeting before we decided to leave for the Shobhapur village where the said incident, that 6 six Muslims were lynched to death by a large violent mob accusing the victims of being child abductors, took place.
Popular Front of India welcomes Reservation bill which was passed by TRS Govt in a special Assembly meeting. We appreciate the concern shown by Shri K. Chandra Sekhar Rao Garu towards the muslim community assuring 12% reservation during the election campaigns as well as in the party's manifesto.
We demand the government to keep firm stand in providing practical 12% reservation to Muslims community, also keep President of India informed about Muslim community economical and educational backward condition in Telangana state And Circumtancs of providing reservation to them.
