Popular Front of India will observe 6 December the 20th anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition as Anti-Fascist Day throughout the nation. A dharna will be held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on the day demanding to rebuild Babri Masjid
and punish the culprits who were responsible for its destruction 20years ago on 6 December 1992. Popular Front chairman E. M. Abdul Rahiman and other leaders will address the dharna.
The Front activists will reach out to people on the day conveying the message “Lest We Forget Babri Masjid” by poster campaigning, distribution of leaflets and public programmes.
The Hindutva Fascist forces demolished Babri Masjid, the 463-year-old place of worship of Muslims in Ayodhya. With it, the ideals and values upheld by the Indian nation were also shattered. The demolition was the gravest terrorist attack
against independent India after the killing of Mahatma Gandhi. It was the day when India had to hang its head in shame before the entire world community.
Along with Muslims, every citizen of this great nation shall not forget Babri Masjid. We request everybody to participate in the program. We also request media to cover the news.
