It is shocking and deeply distressing that a conscientious and courageous woman journalist and social activist like Ms.Lankesh has been shot dead by the agents of communal fascism. The murderers and the master minds behind the scenes intended to silence their opponents through intimidation. But they will fail. Unlike what they hope, Ms.

The Central Secretariat of Popular Front of India in a statement issued after its meeting has condemned the genocidal attacks on Rohingya Muslims and urged the international community to act against the atrocities being perpetrated by Myanmar Security forces and state supported Buddhist militias.
The launching program for the rescue and relief volunteers group of Popular Front of India was held on August 27, 2017 at Centenary Auditorium , University of Madras. E. Abubacker, Chairman, Popular Front of India inaugurated the initiative and delivered the keynote address. Explaining the objectives of this new initiative by Popular Front he said, “Whether it is a Natural calamity or an epidemic disease it will affect all the sections of the society irrespective of religion or caste.
The Central Secretariat meeting of Popular Front of India held at its headquarters welcomed the Supreme Court verdict which pronounced that individual privacy is a fundamental right protected by the Indian Constitution. This unanimous ruling proclaimed as six judgments by the nine judge’s bench declared that the Right to Privacy is protected as an intrinsic part of the Right to Life and Personal Liberty under Article 21 and as a part of the freedoms guaranteed by Part III of the Constitution.
The bail application filed by 14 accused arrested in connection with the lynching of four Muslim
cow traders were rejected by the Sessions Court after Popular Front activists filed objections to
their bail applications.
On 18 May in 2017, four Muslim cow traders were brutally lynched to death by a mob by falsely
accusing them of child abduction, in Shobhapur village of Sareikala district in Jharkhand. Total
18 people were arrested in connection with the inhuman crime. Popular Front leaders visited
Popular Front of India general secretary Mohammed Ali Jinnah has stated that the Judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Triple Talaq issue forbids the government from intervening in Muslim Personal Law, though it has struck down the practice of Triple Talaq for six months. It is noteworthy that the majority verdict of three judges has accorded protection to personal laws under article 25 of the constitution. As Muslim Personal Law Board has pointed out, the judgment has upheld religious freedom as the essence of fundamental rights ensured to the citizens of this country.
After hoisting of the national flag at the headquarters of the Popular Front of India at Delhi, the National Executive Council Member Prof. P. Koya addressed in the gathering here on today.
In his Independence Day address he told “Dear friends, it is really a great moment of joy and excitement when we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the freedom.
Popular Front of India Chairman E Abubacker expressed disappointment over the affidavit filed by Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board which supported building temple at the site where Babri Masjid was demolished.
“In the current situation of fear and insecurity prevailing in the country, Muslim community shall have to display wisdom and courage in overcoming the hurdles surrounding them.” Moulana Khalilur Rahman Sajjad Nomani who is a reputed scholar and working committee member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board made this call while giving ‘Popular Lecture’ of the month at Popular Front of India headquarters in New Delhi. The topic of the speech delivered before an invited audience including women was ‘Human Rights and Social Justice in Islamic perspective’.
