Popular Front felicitates Bangalore Muslim Corporators

Banglore: The Karnataka chapter of Popular Front of India held a felicitation program for Bangalore Muslim Corporators who won recently held elections for Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). At the program with the theme "Empower the Community, Empower the Nation", the Corporators expressed their desire to work for development.

The felicitation program was held at Hotel A.J. International, Bangalore on May 7.

Karnataka: High Court grants permission for Independence Day Celebration

Karnataka:H.C. permits freedom celebration
Bangalore: It was a big shame for Karnataka government with honorable high court of the state grants permission to Popular Front of India to conduct a grand celebration of Independence Day.

State police had denied permission to the organization which had decided to conduct Independent Day celebration in Udupi and Mysore on 15 August 2010. As part of the event the organization had decided to hold Flag hosting, Parade and Felicitation Program.

Popular Front Leader’s Camp Begins

Aluva (Kochi): Popular Front leader’s camp, ‘Vicharatheeram’, began on Monday morning at famous Aluva beach. The two-day programme meant for all state leaders from unit to state level, began at 9.30 today when Nasaruddeen Elamaram, hoisted tricolour flag of Popular Front of India at Tippu Sultan nagar here.

Popular Front chairman E M Abdul Rahman inaugurated the programme.
