Popular Front of India, Maharashtra chapter, organized a scholarship distribution program for 2015-16 on Sunday 28th February 2016 at Nanded. Scholarship was awarded to 30 students from various fields of higher education from Aurangabad, Akola and Nanded.
Popular front of India is a neo socio organization which strives for the betterment of the weaker section of society. For empowerment of every society the education complies a back bone, taking notes from that Popular front of India started giving scholarship to the poor and meritorious students who wish to pursue higher studies after completing HSC (higher secondary certificate), despite of their financial condition.
The renowned writer, commentator and rights activist Mr. Ram Puniyani was awarded NCHRO’s Mukundan C Menon Award 2015, in a graceful function at Al Karimi Library Hall of Anjuman-E-Islam, CST, Mumbai.
