Popular Front of India which is a nationwide social movement striving for total empowerment of the marginalised sections has announced the Educational Project for the current year and appealed people’s contribution for its fulfillment, a step in building a bright future. General Secretary of the organisation M Mohammed Ali Jinnah stated that the highlights of the Educational Project which Popular Front has been implementing since last one decade are the unique campaign called School Chalo, Sarva Shiksha Gram and Scholarship schemes.
Popular Front of India has conveyed deep condolence in the sad demise of Janab Syed Shahabuddin Sahib, former member of Indian parliament and a great champion of social justice and people’s rights in the country. Popular Front chairman E. Abubacker in his message remembered with reverence the concern and sincerity to the people that were consistent of Syed Shahabuddin throughout his life till his last breath.
The National Executive Council of Popular Front of India demanded immediate withdrawal of the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2016 since it violates basic democratic and secular ethos enshrined in the Indian Constitution. It has also urged all secular parties to expose and oppose the communal motive of BJP government behind the Bill, which is currently before the Joint Parliamentary Committee.

The Central Secretariat of Popular Front of India, in a statement issued here today, expressed deep sorrow in the unexpected death of Maulana Abdul Rasheed Rashadi today afternoon, he was an early senior member and state president of the organisation in Andhra Pradesh. Unfortunately, the cancerous liver infection which caused his death could be detected only very late.
