Madikeri: “SDPI’s intention is not political extravaganza. It has come to politics to become voice of oppressed and poor people of the society”, said Abdul Majeed Kodlipete who was speaking at a program organized to pay gratitude to voters for their contribution to the victory of SDPI in four seats of Madikeri CMC, at Market Auditorium in the city.
Ramnagar: Cadres of Social Democratic Party of India, Ramnagar celebrated the party’s victory in 4 seats of Madikeri CMC. According to the party sources the four candidates will play decisive role in the Muncipality administration.
Cadres of SDPI, Ramnagar assembly took out bike rally to celebrate the victory.
Securing 4 seats SDPI emerged as the third largest party in the CMC. Naeema Arshad, K.G.Peter, Advocate Ameen Mohsin and Mansoor Ali were the candidates who won the election.
Bajpe: Campus Front of India organized a women awareness program here at Anjuman PU College Auditorium recently as part of the organization’s state level Nirbhaya campaign.
The college principal Kalavathi B Shetti, delivered presidential speech.
Jokatte high school head teacher Mangala, was present at the program.

Mangalore: An indoor program was organized by Campus Front of India, Mangalore here at St.Agnes College Auditorium as part of the student organization’s state level women awareness campaign Nirbhaya – Saku Krowrya, Beku Sthree Swathanthrya.
School teacher Devi inaugurated the program. Speaking on the occasion Campus Front of India Karnataka state committee member Thufail spoke about increasing atrocities on women in the country.
Riyaz Mangalore welcomed and coordinated the program and delivered vote of thanks. The program witnessed large number of students turn out.
Coorg: It’s the very first time in Madikeri that the Social Democratic Party of India-SDPI contested in 8 wards, won 4 of them and would play a decisive role in the Municipality administration.
The Congress which succeeded in securing 10 seats requires 4 seats to form the council and after the MLA, & MLCs each vote the total would be 12 and still it would require 2 more seats for the purpose.
